Allison Tracy, assistant professor of marine biotechnology at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, lowers a frame with an underwater camera attached into the Chesapeake Bay to collect images for a study published October 19, 2023. The study looked at 50 sites in each of 12 tributaries to learn more about how management practices and environmental conditions affect reef habitat.
