University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign scientists Jaume Amengual (left) and Donald Molina Chaves (right) found an association between finasteride use and lower cholesterol in men in a national survey and revealed delayed atherosclerosis in mice predisposed to the disease when taking high doses of finasteride.
