U.S. Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) Principal Scientist John Michopoulos, Ph.D., received the 2022 Robert Moskovic Award from the European Structural Integrity Society (ESIS) in recognition of outstanding contribution to the fields of computational, theoretical and experimental multiphysics. His materials research and expertise remains relevant for most assets throughout the Navy in regard to designing, manufacturing, qualifying and repairing, including: aircraft, ships, submarines, space platforms, and civil infrastructure and transportation systems.
