Association between remnant cholesterol with specific causes of mortality. (IMAGE)
Caption
Researchers used restricted cubic splines with three predefined knots in competing risk analysis models to evaluate the non-linearity association of remnant cholesterol on a continuous scale and the risk of cause-specific mortality. These models were adjusted for age, sex, education attainment, household income, tobacco smoking, alcohol drinking, BMI, SBP, history of CVD, LDL-C, and lipid-lowering treatment.
