Coactivator-associated arginine methyltransferase 1 (CARM1) was recruited by hypoxia-inducible factor 1 subunit alpha (HIF1A) to form a complex and transactivate CDK4 and HIF1A through epigenetic regulatory mechanisms. The molecular basis of CARM1 in TNBC carcinogenesis and the effective natural inhibitor were determined, which may provide new ideas for the TNBC therapy.
