Seth Cordts, a Tang lab PhD student, and other lab members study a microscope image of the microGrater. This new tool and its counterpart — the microDicer — will allow researchers to improve the consistency and quality of tumor samples, which have direct impact on the quality of the data from downstream experiments such as measurements of drug response.
