When mice with liver injuries received organoid tissue transplants, more of those receiving the multizonal versions (MZ organoids) survived longer than mice receiving either zone 3-only or Zone 1-only versions. Study led by experts at Cincinnati Children's published April 16, 2025, in Nature.
