左の写真は生後6週間のイカで、右の写真はその色素胞のパターンを拡大したもの。色素胞を強調するために緑色の点線で色素胞を囲んだ。色素胞のパターンは、大きくて古い色素胞が、小さくて若い色素胞に囲まれている。
