Isolation of strains of probiotic products for animal use in China. (IMAGE)
Caption
(a) Assessment of bacterial content and labeling accuracy of predominant genera in animal-use probiotic products. (b) Composition of isolated probiotic strains among all products. The NSPP/TNP values are used to evaluate the isolation rate of specific genus strains in the products. The NSPP/NLPP values are used to evaluate the label compliance rate of specific genus strains in the products. The NLPP/TNP values are used to evaluate the proportion of products with label declarations among all products. The QRP values represent the proportion of products with bacterial counts exceeding the generally accepted limit of 1.0 × 108 CFU∙g−1∙mL−1.
