Researchers have developed a DF-FPDT imaging system where, (a) is the schematic of the DF-FPDT system based on a commercial microscope integrated with a programmable angular LED array for illumination. The diagram in (b) illustrates the DF-FPDT platform and the geometric constraints imposed by the standard cell culture plate, which limit the maximum accessible illumination NA to match the objective NA. (c) Working flow of the DF-FPDT reconstruction algorithm, where only high-frequency components within the 3D spectrum are selectively updated to enhance image contrast and resolution.
