SWIFT-PFCs render (IMAGE)

A digital representation of the surface of a plasma-facing divertor component and the underlying helium cooling system in a tokamak fusion device. The SWIFT-PFCs FIRE collaborative will model virtual components to assess their heat and particle exposure and use that data to design the next generation of materials that can withstand the extreme environment within a fusion device.
