Smart material use and reuse can cut climate emissions considerably

A 2020 report from the United Nations, written by a group headed by Edgar Hertwich, a professor at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, found that strategies for efficient material use can reduce 35-40% of lifecycle emissions from homes in G7 countries in 2050.
