Chengmo Yang (center), professor of electrical & computer engineering at the University of Delaware, works with graduate students in her lab in DuPont Hall. She is one of three University of Delaware researchers leading a new effort, supported by a National Science Foundation grant, to make chips that power modern technology more secure from the start, rather than relying on safeguards added later.
