Antonio Jimenez Jimenez, M.D., associate professor of medicine in the Division of Transplantation and Cellular Therapy at Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, will present new findings from the ACCESS trial. The study shows that patients can safely receive stem cell transplants from unrelated donors with multiple genetic mismatches — a result that could make lifesaving transplants accessible to nearly all patients with blood cancers, regardless of ancestry.
