Electrical manipulation of chirality in organic–inorganic hybrid materials

The study demonstrates that applying a gate voltage drives chiral cations from an ionic liquid to the surface of achiral MoS2, creating a controllable chiral electronic state without permanently modifying the material’s chemistry.
