Comparative efficacy and safety of high-dose methylprednisolone with tocilizumab for acute necrotizing encephalopathy

The strong anti-inflammatory activity of high-dose methylprednisolone at 30 mg/kg/day, in combination with tocilizumab and IVIG, improved neurological outcomes in children with severe acute necrotizing encephalopathy (ANE). The findings help optimize the corticosteroid treatment regimen for ANE.
