The crash-testing facility (IMAGE)
Caption
The crash-testing facility at NTNU is used to test how materials such as aluminum, steel, and concrete withstand extreme loads—such as high-speed collisions. Researchers are currently investigating what actually happens when a heavy vehicle traveling at high speed crashes into the guardrail of a bridge.
