Oscillation in the hole localization observed at the end of the experiment (IMAGE)
Caption
Oscillation in the hole localization observed at the end of the experiment, as a function of the delay between the pair of attosecond pulses and the co-propagating near-infrared (NIR) pulse (ΤXUV-NIR) and the momentum of the H+ ion that is measured in the experiment. The position of the hole localization oscillates as a function of , with a blue color meaning hole localization on one side, and a red color meaning hole localization on the other side. Importantly, the ease with which the hole localization can be observed depends on the delay between the attosecond pulses (ΤXUV-XUV).
