TEM images show TiO2 nanocrystals with different shapes (from rods to quantum dots) synthesized via solvothermal methods. The quasi-spherical TiO2-OAOM sample (center) achieved over 5 months of colloidal stability and a 10-fold improvement in anti-wear performance.
