Buyang Huanwu Decoction Promotes Functional Recovery and Alleviates Neuroinflammation After Spinal Cord Injury.

The figure shows behavioral recovery assessed by BMS score. Using Tmem119-CreERT2;Ai14 reporter mice to genetically label microglia, researchers found that the decoction reduced microglial accumulation in the injured spinal cord and decreased the expression of the inflammatory cytokines TNF-α and IL-6.
