Self-Regulated Bidirectional Temperature Gradients in Radiation-Modulated Fabrics for Diurnal Thermal Comfort Management and Energy Harvesting. (IMAGE)
Caption
A dynamic thermoregulating sandwich fabric is developed using parallel dual-spinneret blow-spinning and co-spray techniques. This sandwich fabric exhibits all-day temperature gradients between the top and bottom electrode sides, enabling diurnally adaptive human thermal comfort management and thermoelectric generation. Its self-regulated bidirectional temperature gradients result from asymmetric optical absorption/emission properties of two electrode layers and the hierarchically porous fibrous interlayer.
