Electrochemical “air-breathing” ZAB-based device enables tunable microwave absorption (IMAGE)
Caption
Schematic illustration and experimental demonstration of an electrochemically driven, air-breathing ZAB-based device for tunable microwave absorption. Reversible oxygen generation and consumption at the air-facing electrode dynamically regulate impedance matching between the device and surrounding air, enabling controllable electromagnetic wave penetration, reflection, and dissipation. The flexible device maintains stable absorption modulation across a broad frequency range while withstanding repeated bending and deformation.
