Temperature-field assisted vat photopolymerization (TF-VPP) fabrication of high-strength, low-shrinkage silica-based ceramic cores. (IMAGE)

The TF-VPP process effectively reduces the viscosity of high-viscosity slurries, lowers curing stress, and improves curing precision. It regulates the sintering properties of ceramic cores via different debinding processes such as air debinding and vacuum debinding. Compared with existing traditional forming techniques and previously reported VPP fabrication routes, ceramic cores produced manufactured by the proposed process exhibit superior overall performance. This process system provides a novel solution for high-precision printing of high-viscosity ceramic slurries and regulation of core properties.
