Texturing and Ca-doping strategies with enhanced in-plane ferroelectric performance and low in-plane leakage current of SrBi2Ta2O9 ceramics

SrBi2Ta2O9 layered ferroelectrics possesses in-plane ferroelectricity and insulating (Bi2O2)2+ layers along the c‑axis, leading to the excellent properties in low overall leakage current but weak ferroelectric performance for randomly oriented ceramics. Compared to previous reported SrBi2Ta2O9 ceramics, the textured Ca-doped SrBi2Ta2O9 ceramics shows remarkable ferroelectric properties with low in-plane leakage current.
