New perovskite detector helps X-ray images stay clear at far lower dose

Dental X-ray images obtained with the LPGA perovskite detector show clear crown and root structures at much lower radiation dose than a commercial dental X-ray comparison. The result highlights how improving the internal uniformity of detector films can reduce image noise and support low-dose imaging.
