Efficient, oxidation-free, P(V)-based oligonucleotide synthesis strategy (IMAGE)
Caption
Researchers reveal a new P(V)-based oligonucleotide synthesis strategy that uses stable nucleoside 3′-phosphorofluoridates as building blocks. Silicon-mediated activation enables rapid, oxidation-free coupling and automated solid-phase synthesis of oligonucleotides, which can be a complementary approach that addresses key limitations of conventional synthesis.
