Fiber-integrated linear pulse compression boosts ANDi supercontinuum generation. Progression of the pulse’s temporal profile and chirp in the treated fiber. In the thermally treated section the core is enlarged and the dispersion is opposite to the original fiber’s, compressing the pulse and boosting the final supercontinuum generation.
