This image combines day-two MRI scans from more than 1,000 mice in the SPAN network. The blue center marks tissue injured in nearly every animal, while the surrounding colors show areas affected less consistently. The overlapping pattern demonstrates reproducible stroke injury across six laboratories using a standardized procedure and automated imaging pipeline.
