Caption
A team of researchers led by Dr. Rohani Ambo-Rappe from Hasanuddin University, Indonesia, assessed ecological conditions of seagrass meadows, spread across Central and Eastern Indonesia, using the seagrass ecological quality index (SEQI). The approach identified ecological hotspots, coldspots, and outliers that could help guide targeted conservation and restoration efforts.
