Structural connectome embeddedness across mechanisms, brain states and behavior

Brain functional activity evolves dynamically along a continuous axis of structural connectome embeddedness within a state space shaped by anatomical connectivity. The framework tests whether embeddedness emerges from structurally coupled whole-brain models, characterizes macroscale functional coordination and state reconfiguration, and relates to behavioral phenotypes and cognitive demand.
