Engineered probiotics hitch a ride on T cells to strengthen antitumor immunity

Engineered FOLactis bacteria are attached to the surface of T cells through bio-orthogonal click chemistry, forming the T-FOLactis chimera. The linked system improves tumor localization and brings local immune-stimulating signals into close proximity with dendritic cells and T cells, strengthening antitumor immune responses.
