The preferred solution gives maximum gridded depths of 10,926 m, 10,912 m, and 10,927 m in the western, central, and eastern basins, respectively. Reprocessing the same acoustic data using five sound-speed models gives maximum gridded depths of 10,914–10,932 m in the eastern basin, an 18 m spread.
