Layered solvent-ligand interface enables fast and selective lithium-ion transport

A layered cyano-bridged metal framework forms a cooperative solid-liquid interface with nonaqueous solvents. Outer-layer solvent ligands regulate lithium-ion solvation renewal, while interlayer solvent ligands control framework curvature and anion anchoring, jointly improving lithium-ion transport rate and selectivity.
