Chiral organic semiconductors for circularly polarized light detection

This schematic summarizes the development of chiral organic semiconductors for circularly polarized light (CPL) detection. Chiral organic semiconductors can be acquired through molecular design, chiral induction or spontaneous chiral symmetry breaking, which can directly discriminate CPL and be integrated into CPL detectors for circularly polarized imaging, information encoding and neuromorphic computing.
