This material relates to a paper that appeared in the Sept. 15, 2017, issue of Science, published by AAAS. The paper, by W.E. Allen at Stanford University in Stanford, Calif., and colleagues was titled, "Thirst-associated preoptic neurons encode an aversive motivational drive."
