Li Fang leads the team that will set up the laser, which will be the backbone of a multi-User Facility for Attosecond Soft x-rays and Terahertz (UFAST). This facility once complete will be one of a kind in the world and is expected to enhance U.S. competitiveness in high-flux ultrafast technologies and attosecond science.
