Mechanical Engineering professor Dryver Huston (top row, third from right) and a team of UVM faculty, graduate and undergraduate students hold an array of wireless acoustic, electromagnetic and robotic devices that assess the integrity of infrastructure. Huston is principal investigator on a $4 million grant to create the next generation of infrastructure sensors. Joining the UVM team on the project are faculty and students from Vermont Technical College and the University of Maine.
