Inequalities in exposure to NO2 pollution (IMAGE)

Across 52 U.S. cities, large discrepancies in exposure to NO2 pollution exist between low-income communities of color and high-income white communities. The inequality is driven primarily by proximity to roadways with heavy diesel truck traffic, says a new study in Geophysical Research Letters.
