University of Utah mechanical engineering assistant professor Tommaso Lenzi (left), helps Alec McMorris put on an experimental exoskeleton that Lenzi has developed for lower-limb amputees. The lightweight powered exoskeleton allows users to walk with much less effort thanks to a series of motors, microprocessors and advanced algorithms.
