NTU Singapore scientists discover method to boost energy generation from microalgae (IMAGE)
Caption
(from left to right) PhD student Yuan Zhiyi and Assistant Professor Chen Yu-Cheng analyse the amount of electrical energy generated by coating tiny micro-droplets with algae protein. The research team found that doing so boosted this level of energy generation by at least two to three times, compared to the usual rate of algae photosynthesis alone.
