We are a step closer to the novel, portable diagnostic devices monitoring the level of particular drugs in biological fluids thanks to the research work of Dr. Krzysztof Noworyta's team. Researchers created a sensor based on a polymer matrix with which only specific molecules fit, just like cookie cutters for Christmas gingerbread cookies.
