A study led by Mark Garofoli with West Virginia University's School of Pharmacy, revealed the public’s knowledge and perceptions of over-the-counter pain medications is lacking. In a survey of 1,174 people, 85% answered two-thirds of questions about OTC pain meds incorrectly.
