Illinois research team investigating angler risk perceptions (IMAGE)
Caption
University of Illinois and Cornell University researchers found anglers’ value systems predicted their risk perceptions around aquatic invasive species (AIS). These risk perceptions, in turn, predicted the lengths to which anglers would go to prevent spread of AIS. The Illinois research team includes (from left) Cory Suski, Elizabeth Golebie, and Carena van Riper, all part of the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Sciences.
