Maggie Johnson, MarineGEO post-doctoral fellow, studies the effects of temperature, ocean acidification and now hypoxia on corals. During the hypoxic event, she took lettuce corals, Agaricia tenuifolia, collected from the same depths at different sites, back to the lab, where she determined coral health.
