Ahead of the resumed 5th UN Environment Assembly (UNEA-5.2.), UNEP launches the fourth edition of its flagship Frontiers Report, which flags upcoming issues of particular concern. The 2022 report focusses on noise pollution, wildfires and phenological shifts. The first Frontiers Report in 2016 sounded alarms about the growing risk of zoonotic diseases, four years before the COVID-19 pandemic began.
