Assistant professor Amanda De La Torre, of Northern Arizona University’s School of Forestry, was recently awarded $1.2 million by the National Science Foundation’s (NSF) prestigious Faculty Early Career Development (CAREER) Program for a five-year study entitled “Temporal and Transgenerational Genomic and Epigenetic Effects of Hybridization in Long-generation Tree Species.”
