The dominant fungal symbiont in adult females of wild Euwallacea interjectus (ambrosia beetle) (left) is Fusarium kuroshium (left circle). On the other hand, Neocosmospora metavorans (right circle) and an undescribed species of Fusarium fungus (middle circle) were found from those of reared E. interjectus (right).
