Nebraska’s Evgeny Tsymbal and an international team have demonstrated how to construct, control and explain nanoscopic walls that could yield multiple technological benefits. Those benefits could include increased storage and the ability to retain data states even when devices turn off — a precursor to electronics that power back on with the speed and simplicity of a light.
