Boosting multi-hole water oxidation catalysis on hematite photoanodes under low bias

The UV irradiation reduces the formation probability of self-trapped excitons and significantly promotes the multi-hole accumulation process, thereby achieving the efficient water oxidation reaction even under low bias.
