Circulating serum proteins 60 days after onset of SARS-CoV-2 infectious symptoms identify a sub-category of long-COVID with persistent inflammation. This signature helps clarify biological diversity in long-COVID highlighting the need for targeted treatment strategies and shows diagnostic utility for differentiating inflammatory and non-inflammatory long-COVID.
